...hope y'all are having a great week, leading into an awesome Memorial Day weekend!

 

Cabana Boy Huey has his work cut out for him to get Miss Rogers' pool to the optimum pH level for her and all the cronies that will be hanging out all summer... she already made me paint all that ironwork railing stuff around the tennis court...with one of those little brushes stuck on the inside of the cap of a bottle of nail polish... TOLD y'all I'd be in trouble for those 'chorus girl' remarks a few days back...

...As for what's ahead on G-ology, we haven't forgotten the review process...just watched 'Upper World' last night...really not a bad movie, even after our girl makes her untimely exit...

Warren William does a pretty good job in this one... his role in 'Gold Diggers of '33' was that of a 'quasi-buffoon', so don't let that role affect your viewing of this one... Ginger plays the 'other woman' (for the second time in as many movies!) - as well as a Chorus Girl (y'all didn't just read that...OK?).
But...again, don't let that bother ya, Jack, for she's a good bit more likeable in this one, and although her general intentions are the same, she does seem to weigh the options with great thought, instead of just jumping into the fray willy-nilly like ol' Madge did back in COH.
So, the review will hopefully make its way to the blog by the end of the weekend...but y'all know how that ends up, on average...

Another note... as mentioned previously by a fellow Gingerologist (sorry, can't remember which one....all of y'all are so awesome! :-] ) , Ginger will be part of the Summer with the Stars...looks like August 12 is the big day...that's a Sunday, y'all, so that's pretty cool! It's still a bit 'tentative' tho, so there could be more films to come on that day (the 'complete' schedule isn't out yet...) so stay tuned.

...a pretty funky sounding band from the UK, that's been around at least a few years... would betcha a heap that our UK Gingerologist Kat probably knows all about this band... wonder if they've 'covered' a Gingertune or two... I may have to join up on Facebook just to yak with these folks! :-)  I've been needing to do the FB deal anyway... I'm one of the last ones out there without it... not sure what I'd post any different than on here, but...heck, I'll use it as a recruiting tool for Gingerologists...
