It is OFFICIALLY "GingerFall", Y'all...

...now what does THAT mean? Wellllllll....

I have been trying to think of 'connections' between Ginger and the Autumnal Equinox for some time now, and there just isn't that much... I mean, none of the movies she was in seem to be set in autumn - most are summer or winter, although many of them are pretty indeterminant with regards to season.

So, the first thing that I could think of is... warm fuzzy clothes! Now, with Ginger being the clothes 'hound' that she was, there SHOULD be plenty of pics of her in coats, furs, etc., right? Well... not as much as you may think... the first one that jumped into my noggin was the 'Fine Romance' scene from 'Swing Time'... but most of y'all know about that one, as extremely cute as she is in it. So, I tried to dig up as many OTHER 'Ginger in Coat' pics as I could, and here are the 'Top 5':

1. 'Spotted Fur with Curves'........

2. 'Neat Fuzzy Lines'........

3. 'Houndstooth and Hat'........

4. 'Basic with Bling'........

5. 'Fuzz Ensemble'........

...OK, y'all might have noticed I numbered these... yep, that's right, y'all... POLL TIME! Pick your fave of the five given... of course ALL of them give Huey the warm Fuzzies, of course...
... as usual, there are NO wrong answers when it comes to VKM!!!
So, GingerFall is off and running... again, not sure what else this will end up being, so... ANY suggestions from y'all would be MOST welcome!

KIG!

  2. Dynamite pictures, Huey. The only one I had seen before was #5. I think I'll go with #2 also because it's so unique. Love the hat on her.

  3. You expect me to pick? Its hard - she does look awesome in #2 but I have sentimental feelings for 3 and 4 because I love Once Upon A Honeymoon.

  4. Oh my....all of them are lovely, but I think I'm partial to #2 and #5, preferring 1930's Ginger to 1940's Ginger. Hooray for fall!

  5. Although I love them all, I voted for #2. Ginger had great style-sense! :)

  6. ...well, not that it will sway any votes at this point, cause 'Neat Fuzzy Lines' has run off with it, but I actually voted for... #1! I REALLY like that era of Ginger! ...I mean reallyreallyREALLY!!! :-P Of course, the other pics are totally awesome as well, so again, no wrong answer in this contest!
Thanks for participating, y'all... still a few days for the late ones... ROCK the vote, y'all! or at LEAST 'Swing Time' it!!! :-)

  7. Just four hours left to vote -- oh-my, oh-my!

But it didn't take me much time to decide: I spontaneously crushed on No.5 at once. I might faint if I saw that divine gown in my closet ...

You still have good ideas, although you're having a one-lady-show. It's darn tough always to have find new stuff on just one item. But you've got lots of imagination, as a big heart for Ginger. So you might be doing this for hundreds of years...
