...Now, there's other things to consider...
FIRST, check out the 'pages' section to the right... notice there's a new one on the bottom of the list called 'GingerSpeak'... check it out, as it's pretty self-explanatory... I'll just say I expect MUCH input from y'all regarding it!!!
SECOND, hope y'all get to catch some of the GandF films currently being aired on TCM... we all generally have them, and know them purt near by heart, but...it's always cool to see them aired on a 'national network'...
THIRD, The Roxie Hart 'LiveStream' viewing was GREAT!!! For those who couldn't make it, or unfortunately didn't know about it, GingerPeachy organized a 'synchronized viewing' of 'Roxie Hart' last night, and folks just all crammed into one thread with 'real time' comments! AWESOME stuff! We plan on doing it again soon, and many more times! SO, if you're not on FaceBook yet...what 'cha waiting for? DO IT!!! And look us up over there...
FOURTH, which is a 'follow-up' to THIRD, involves a new post over on the 'Roxie Hart' blog - see the list on the right of this page. I grabbed the entire thread from the viewing last night, converted to 'plain text', and posted it over there, for posterity, I suppose... but also for folks interested in seeing what went down...it was a blast!
FIFTH, and not least, I've ALSO posted a neat little story over on the 'Weekend at The Waldorf' blog, regarding the 'genesis' of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, from an old Paul Harvey (you know the "...rest of the story" dude) book I dug up from my dad's library... it just seemed like a neat post for that site... which is generally why I set up those sites (other than to have a 'storage/archive' site for each film) - to post specific items regarding the film in question.

Well, that's about it for tonight...lots of stuff y'all can hopefully peruse at your leisure... and until next time...
...Keep It Gingery!!!

Hi, Hu! As per "Today in Gingerology" for Feb 8, a note on Miles Mander. He also had a minor supporting role in "Weekend at the Waldorf", as a secretary for the Bay guy... You only see a couple good shots of him, but he's there. Thanks! Barb A.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, Lady B!!! I'll edit the 'master list'!
