1916: Sidney Miller, who starred with Ginger in the film “Rafter Romance” (as Julius), was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania.

1949: Craig Reynolds (born Harold Hugh Enfield), who starred with Ginger in the film “Don’t Bet on Love” (as Reporter), died in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 42.

1963: Helen Carrington, who starred with Ginger in the film “Queen High” (as Mrs. Nettleton), died in Morristown, New Jersey, at the age of 68.

1969: Sam Harris, who starred with Ginger in the films “Carnival Boat” (as Spectator), “Shall We Dance” (as Passenger Walking Dog), “Once Upon a Honeymoon” (as Bridge Player), “Week-End at the Waldorf” (as Hotel Guest Entering Elevator), “Heartbeat” (as Ball Guest), “It Had To Be You” (as Wedding Guest), “Forever Female” (as Diner at Sardi’s), and “The First Traveling Saleslady” (as Courtroom Spectator), died in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 92.

2009: TCM aired “Gold Diggers of 1933”.

Baby is HERE!!!

...Just letting my fellow Gingerologists know that my little boy has finally entered the world!




Vital Stats:

Born 9-3-09 - 7:22 a.m. CST
Weight - 10 lbs, 3 oz. (BTW...that's quite a big baby!!!)
Height - 22 inches

Mom and son are both doing very well... as well as big sister and ol' dad...

Thanks for all the kind words, and hope to be getting back in the swing (time) of things soon!

  2. Heh Heh... yep, he is a quite sizeable one! But, not overtly 'fat', but is quite tall. And it WAS a 'scheduled' C-section, much to my wife's relief!
