...random GingerMoment of the day...

...occurred whilst helping out my daughter with her chemistry homework (which seems a bit advanced for 8th Grade, but maybe not... I know I didn't have this stuff when I was her age...) ...anyway, I drug out my old college chemistry book, just flipping through the 700+ pages, and just happen to land on this one:
...check out the 'Figure Description' to the left of the picture... how RANDOM is THAT? I mean, how many textbook pics actually call out where the pic was TAKEN?  ...although, it is pretty sad the description talks of the demise of the plant due to acid rain... ...also, this was stumbledupon while watching Missouri play Mississippi State in football... if anything, it reminds me to get some Ginger stuff rolling this weekend, which should be a doable proposition, as it is to be quite soggy in South Gingerville this weekend... so... stay tuned!
...BTW, THIS pic is MUCH better representative of our Independence Rose, don'tchathink?

yupyupyup...
in the interim...

KIG, Y'all!!!

  1. I haven't visited in a long time --- got burnt out on old movies and haven't watched ANY movies in ages. Instead I'm back to tv for my viewing.

Anyway, I thought of you and figured I would check in. And you greeted me with the pic of Ginger in one of my all time favorite dresses that she wore. :) Meanwhile, why I thought of you was with Thanksgiving arriving, I was thinking of yummy turkey and yours perhaps being the yummiest with the deep frying. Will you be doing it again this year?

Finally Little T is now 4 1/2 and has a one year old sister. I'm really enjoying them both. Happy Thanksgiving, Huey!

    1. ...LADY F!!!! It's SO good to hear from you! Hope all is doing well! Amazing how fast the young ones grow up... now a sister too, eh? Well, hope you can get to see them as much as possible!

I am in fact doing the turkey fry again, although I think we are doing an 'oven roast' as well, because we have quite a few folks in this year...heck, we have a honeybaled ham as well... it IS Thanksgiving, after all... there's NEVER enough food, right?
Well, I have been 'in-and-out' with G-ology, and hope to get back with it on a more frequent basis... but honestly, FaceBook has been so effective with GingerNews and other stuff from so many other Gingerologists, it's kinda hard to get going over here... BTW, not sure if you are ON FB, but, if you want to get into a very intense GingerCommunity, it's the place to be... just hit the 'link' or whatever on the bottom right of this blog... I'll introduce ya to the folks! It's funny...I keep in touch with another G-ologist named Barbara regularly... something about Barbaras, I guess, right? :-)

Well, hope you and yours have an incredible Thanksgiving, Lady F! And PLEEESE stay in touch! FB!

      Love ya! and of course...
      KIG!!!
