Have a Gingery Halloween, y'all!!!

from the snarling squirrels at Gingerology!

...still my favorite screen cap EVAH! One of these years I'll 'compile' all of the 'quirky' caps into a single post... well, there's not many Halloweengery pics, but...here's a few y'all probably already know:

...of course, the pic of Ginger and Mr. Ayres... Ginge just seems... a bit... tentative here...wonder what's up? Heck, this may well not even be a Halloween thing, but some kind of Western-themed event they attended... but, we'll keep it in this loop...

...well, lots of kids still dress up as 'superherores', so...we give you...SuperGinger!!! (which is of course redundant, but... just to identify this specific pic, it will be retained...)

...look who forgot to shave, eh? Not sure what this was all about - I think Ginger was an emcee somewhere and was 'emulating' the real host or whatever, who had a beard, it appears... again, most likely not Halloween, but...still pretty unusual...

Well... that's about all I could dig up...if y'all have any more Halloween pics of our girl, please post on your site (yes, I'm looking at you, GF11!)...

Hope y'all have a fun 'observance' of Halloween (er, it's NOT a 'holiday', y'all...not until we get off of work for it...) and stay safe! Of course, one must also...

Keep It Gingery!!!

  1. Ha nice pic choices. I remember posting that pic I think 2 or 3 years ago, and called it "Super Ginger Rogers!". Everytime I see that pic it reminds of that, I wonder what super power Ginger would have if she was a super hero???

Nice mentioning me in the post! ;D
I haven't found any halloween themed pics of her yet, but I could make a halloween post and put up pics that are on the bit unusual side of Ginger pics.

    Have a awesome day!

  2. ...yep, I really love the cape Ginger pics...there's a few out there... ...as for Ginger's 'superpower', well...her dancing prowess might be considered... but for me, her mere 'existence' was an overwhelming force that Huey has no defense against... :-]

And yes, I'm sure you will pull some Gingery pics out of the hat in short order... just POST!!!

...hope your school is doing well... only a few weeks until Thanksgiving...dang this year is zipping right along...oh well...

    KIG, GF!!!!

  4. ...cool! Good catch, GF! I always try to keep up with the latest releases, but... looks like FOX has some new archives coming out...hey, could it possibly include HCG? Here's hoping!!!
I know that Rafter Romance was 'believed lost', and they 'found' the copy for release...about the time I became a 'whole hawg' Gingerologist... so there's a pretty good shot it will turn up...

I might 'officially post' this info tomorrow... with mad props to GF, of course! :-)

    Have a Gingery weekend!

  5. Hope you had a good Halloween, love the pics, especially the first one!

Sorry to hijack this post, but I needed to tell someone who would care (and understand what it meant to me!) - I saw one of Ginger's dresses today!

I've just got back from an exhibition of film costumes at the V&A museum in London, an awesome collection of 100 costumes, and to my delight one of them was Ginger's amazing dress from Lady in the Dark! I did actually squeal out loud when I saw it, to the embarrassment of the friend I was with, but I don't care! Sadly, no photography was allowed and of course it wasn't considered iconic enough to warrant a postcard like Audrey's Givenchy dress, so I won't have a memento of it, but I have the memory of having been lucky enough to have seen it at all. I've tried to put in the link to the V&A's photos, but I'm not techno-savvy:

Thanks for letting me gush on, but really, who else would know how I feel?

    1. AWESOME, CMM!!! Of all of Ginger's dresses, that one is the most...memorable... due to how smashingly it 'unfurls', of course... :-P

Sad you couldn't document it... I was actually kinda surprised they allowed pics in Boston... And while Audrey is deservedly (I guess) feted, wouldn't Ginger's Jenny dress be JUST a bit more 'photoworthy?' I wish there would have been a few more dresses at the BU exhibit...kinda weird there wasn't...

But NO problem to jump on here with an awesome GingerTale!!! That is what this blog is all ABOUT!!! In fact, I would like to set up a 'Gingerology chat room' if possible...that may end up being a 'facebook' thing...but it looks like I'm waiting to be the last person on the rock to join facebook, so stay tuned on that...

And yes, I know EXACTLY how you feel! :-]

      KIG, Madam!!! Great story!!!
