Just checking in...

...hi y'all! Hope this week has been good for ya...

This is 'spring break' week for my daughter, so I took off from work yesterday, and we ended up bowling, of all things... which of course always conjures up this image in my Ginger-riddled noggin:
...but we stayed in our designated areas (for the most part) and did not veer off into the field of play, as Janie did... I was not too good, tho... high score of 119. In fact, my wife won 2 out of the 3 we played - but she's pretty good.

Well, all that to say it's been a fun week, but work is getting a bit hectic - which is a good thing. So, it's put a bit of 'delay' on the next review - although, '20 Million Sweethearts' should be ready for the weekend - I'm down to screen caps.

    Just want to let Ginger fans know she needs your help now in the "Singers/Dancers" division of the Silents/1930s bracket of the 2012 Favorite Classic Actress Movie Tourney. She's in the division final against Irene Dunne, and trailing (Dunne has won her previous matches by frightful margins). So go to http://mythicalmonkey.blogspot.com before 10 p.m. (Eastern) on Saturday and cast your vote for Ms. Rogers. (Oh, and while you're at it, please vote for Carole Lombard in the "Funny Ladies" final against Myrna Loy. Blonde solidarity!)

    Thanks, VP - I added a link at the top of the page...Ginger is within 10 or so votes now, so maybe this will push her past Irene...hey, nothing against Miss Dunne, but...that's how it is! ...and it looks like Carole is in pretty good shape.

    When I looked just now, Carole was tied with Myrna and Ginger had pulled ahead of Irene...
