...a pretty close race for 'Top Cap' - but in the end, it was...

#1.....'The Tenderfoot' - with 8 votes

#2.....'Chance at Heaven' - with 7 votes

and #3.....'Flying Down to Rio' - with 6 votes.

'Follow The Leader' received two votes, and '42nd Street', 'Gold Diggers of 1933' and 'Sitting Pretty' each received a single vote.

Thanks for participating...and hope y'all have a VERY Gingery President's Day Weekend!!! Are any of y'all off Monday? I am, and school's out, so... a pretty nice situation. Be on the lookout for the 'Finishing School' review...hopefully sometime this weekend.
...and just to 'throw this out there', these series of films Ginger made between 'Rio' and "Divorcee' find her toggling back and forth between being a good girl (as Mary was in Rafter Romance) and...well, a bad girl...this next one is definitely on the 'bad girl' side of things...
...Ginger's next film, 'Twenty Million Sweethearts', portrays her as...well, a sweetheart!
But then the very next feature, 'Change of Heart', has Ginger as a conniving 'mantrap'...
...finally, 'Upper World' has Ginger as a generally sweet girl who happens to be tied up with a criminal, thus she does have an 'edge', so it's an 'up and down' role in that sense... that leads us into 'The Gay Divorcee', where Ginger's Mimi gives her pursuer (Guy) all kinds of fits...better get used to that, Freddie...

So, just some 'thumbnails' of the next few reviews heading our way...should prove to be interesting ones.
