...but I'm going to be 'upbeat' this go-round regarding the fourth month on the Gregorian Calendar... why not? Hopefully everything will go well, or at least not totally fall apart, as usual... Here's some facts about April, the month... with a Gingery twist, of course...
Well, there you have it... I've tried to shine as much positive light as I could find on the month of April, so MAYBE this year it will be a somewhat uneventful time for Hu. Y'all keep it in the road, and hope to see you on the other side...in May. ...well, I'll be around some before then, I guess! :-)
Here's hoping the same applies to y'all... and if all else fails, remember to...
Keep It Gingery, y'all!!!

Blu-ray.com, which has more details regarding the product, which is set for release on April 21st... so, be saving up! Guess I'll have to pop on a Blu-ray player... I think they are relatively inexpensive at this point in time...
I think the 'extras' on this one mirror the ones included in the 'original' DVD... but I could be wrong on that...
...and the scuttlebutt around a few 'forums' I ran across discussing this is that the good ol' folks at WB Archives are just getting warmed up with these offerings... rumor has it that Gold Diggers of 1933 as well as Footlight Parade (not a Ginger joint, but DOES have Miss Blondell in it) are next to get the Blu-ray transformation. It's also worth mentioning that there was a rumor a few years back that the G&F collection was to 'done up' in Blu-ray as well... not sure where that is, but... it would be nice to see.
Well, hope all is well with y'all out there... wwe're all good at Gingerology Central...a bit of cold/flu-ish stuff the last few weeks, but it's in it's death throes...
Until next time,

When Eric Blore and Edward Everett Horton were making much more then Ginger was for the early G&F film series installments, Ginger held out for a better deal, knowing that she was as much a part of 'the franchise' as FS was...and MORE important than EB or EEH were, in terms of box office draw.
Y'all know I'm not big on 'political' issues and such, but... this one seemed to apply to Ginger quite well....and hope this inspires you ladies out there to push for change where it is needed, in any capacity. And, just to throw it out there, the inequity for women remains even on this DAY, as it is the only 23-hour day of the year... grrrr....
With that, hope everyone out there has a Gingery weekend, and I'll hopefully get some posting going on here soon!
Until that time,
It is my hope that I can continue to make 'G-ology' interesting and informative regarding the 'Beautiful Science' of VKM, which is SUCH a great topic!!! ...And remember, your comments are what make Gingerology click - so keep cranking them out!
Thanks again, JW
